Hexagon Metrology is pleased to invite you to a series of events in 2011 where you will be able to witness the latest technological advancements in metrology - Live!
Join us to learn through practical demonstrations and open discussions about how our metrology technology can help solve your measurement challenges.

Agenda for this event:

• 8 :45am Join us for breakfast, coffee and a chance to meet the other guests.
• 9 :30am Welcome and introduction
• 9 :45am A Measurable Difference – Right from the design stage through to delivery, metrology can improve your processes, save you money and give you a competative advantage – Learn about the tools available, how and when to use them
• 10 :15am Technology Overview – The world of Metrology is vast, varied and moving quickly – Find out about the main types of equipment available and understand which ones will best suit what you do. 
• 10 :45am Capturing the Data – ‘Contact’ or ‘non-contact’, touch-trigger probe or analogue scanning, lasers, white light sensors, vision systems – We’ll show you which method of sensing you need to be thinking of and what you can do with the precious data you collect.
• 11 :15am Coffee Break
• 11 :30am Demonstrations – Now you’ve learned about what you need, we’ll show you the products actually being used -  our Technical Engineers will give overviews, detailed demo’s and answer any questions you may have.
• 12- 12:15pm Close – A quick round up of what we’ve seen and Q&A session
• 12 :15pm Lunch, Networking and Measurement Clinic - Head back to the office or join us for lunch. If you’ve got specific measurement problems then bring them along and our Engineers will be happy to discuss them, advise you and maybe even measure them while you watch!

If you can’t stay for the afternoon don’t worry – we can still arrange for an Engineer to visit you on-site, at a later date.
